Dreaming of a White Christmas...in Hawaii
I shot this image a year ago when I was in Hawaii. I really enjoyed the holiday decorations. People went over the top with decorations even re-creating snow by using white plastic on their front lawns. I grew up around snow so I thought it was really funny. It was the first time in my life that I was somewhere warm during the holiday season. I shot this image using my original Diana and Kodak Portra VC160 film.

"Mele Kalikimaka" Carol!
ReplyDeleteI spent a Christmas in Maui a few years ago, so I know what you mean..
I see you don't have my blogsite listed on your list, I have yours on mine. I have always enjoyed seeing your stuff here and on toycamera.com.
If you like maybe you could list mine? I made a post just yesterday.
Thanks!
Brian
Yikes, those are some BIG snowflakes! :-) I can imagine it might have felt kind of surreal, and I imagine I see that surreal feeling in your photo.
ReplyDeleteI think Don Ho would approve of this strange little scene.
ReplyDeleteThanks for add Carol!
